Training courses:

Ignite woodfuel training course
A three-day course produced by Rural Development Initiatives focusing upon the fundamentals of wood fuel production and supply. It is accredited through the Lantra Awards body and won a National Training Award in 2006. It is suitable for anyone interested in becoming a wood fuel supplier or gaining better knowledge of biomass energy.

Woodfuel Quality Standards Training course
This one-day course produced by Rural Development Initiatives concentrates on wood fuel from forest or primary wood processing sources. The course includes information on:
  • The draft CEN standards for wood fuels
  • Wood chip fuel specifications
  • Quality assurance and labelling
